Houston Akin was born and raised in Franklin, Tennessee. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University, after which he studied law at Belmont University College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor.
Tricia was born in Greeneville, Tennessee, grew up in Missouri and has been in Franklin for 22 years. She has a BS from Northwest Missouri State specializing in therapeutic recreation. She has over 20 years experience in the title industry.
Laura has been serving real estate clients since 1988, having done so as a Realtor, a Mortgage Loan Officer, and, for the last 24 years, as a title specialist. Laura recently returned to her hometown of Knoxville, where she grew up and started her career, in order to spearhead Mockingbird's Knoxville office. Laura's holistic understanding of all sides of a real estate transaction allows her to provide a customer service experience that is unique in the title industry.
